Genuine Atomic variable geometry fin straps with buckles features Atomic's unique, patented "variable pitch" stainless steel spring. Unlike other spring straps that have a constant coil of the same diameter, Atomic spring straps have a variable pitch and section geometry (they change shape) in specific regions of the strap. These special shaped regions allow the spring to stretch more easily for a more comfortable fit and make them stronger to resist breakage or permanant deformation if they are over-stretched or abused. The spring straps are fitted to Atomic's patented quick release buckle system permitting simple, one handed removal or attachment. Constructed of rust resistant type 316 stainless steel, these may be the last fin straps you ever buy. Fits all Atomic open heel fins, including older models.
